Redefinition of the sample

Used with the option -s, the command

aud -s type

uses directly the output of the previous command aud as input to prepare the new list of star number, instead of the original sample.

This possibility is useful when the number of stars of the new sample becomes smaller than that of the initial sample.

Example:

Let use the following suite of commands:

The command ubv selects the data from reference 1341, then aud vsn gets the Vsini data, which are less numerous, and aud -s mk looks for the spectral types of the stars in the new sample.
