Abstract:
We present JHK infrared data from the UK InfraRed Telescope (UKIRT)
for a subset of the regions of the Massive Young Star-Forming Complex
Study in Infrared and X-ray (MYStIX) survey. Some of the data were
obtained specifically for the MYStIX project, and some as part of the
UKIRT Infrared Deep Sky Survey's Galactic Plane Survey (UKIDSS). In
most of these fields, crowding is a significant issue for aperture
photometry, and so we have re-extracted the photometry from the
processed images using an optimal extraction technique, and we
describe how we adapt the optimal technique to mitigate the effects of
crowding.
Description:
The data were obtained using WFCAM, the IR wide-field camera on UKIRT
in Hawaii for 11 regions (DR 21, Eagle Nebula, Lagoon Nebula, M 17,
NGC 1893, NGC 2264, NGC 2362, NGC 6334, NGC 6357, Rosette Nebula and
the Trifid Nebula). Roughly half the fields were observed as part of
the Galactic Plane Survey (GPS; Lucas et al. 2008, Cat. II/316)
component of UKIDSS with the remainder being obtained in Director's
Discretionary Time (DDT) using identical observing procedures.

Note on table2.dat: This table results from a slightly improved reduction
of the data compared with that used for the MYStIX analysis, the main
difference being a 0.015 mag correction to the K-band zero point.
These differences are too small to affect the MYStIX analysis.

Note (1): The flags apply to each color, and therefore 2 flags are given
for each color. Their meanings are:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meaning Algorithm Power(*)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
O = O.K. Weak
S = Saturated pixel Pixel flagging Strong
F = Bad pixel Pixel flagging Strong
N = Non-stellar Star shape estimator Strong
B = Background fit failed Sky determination Weak
I = Ill-determined background Sky determination Weak
E = Too close to Edge Flux measurement Weak
M = Negative (minus) counts(a) Flux measurement Weak
V = Variable Combining measurements Weak
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(*) A strong flag will always be written, overwriting any other flags,
whilst a weak flag will only be written if the measurement is
unflagged so far. Thus the order the flags are applied is important.
(a) negative measured flux, so the magnitude should be used
as a bright limit.

Rosette Nebula, Trifid Nebula, NGC 1893, NGC 2264, NGC 2362, NGC 6334,
and NGC 6357,
