The Comand bdp

The command bdp allows to extract information from the Budapest bibliographic catalogue (Alter, Ruprecht and Vanysek 1970) and its first supplement (Ruprecht, Balasz and White 1981), which are part of the bibliography contained in the database.

Like for other commands the various actions are performed according to the options and arguments given on the command line.

One can either list the whole file, or make selections on the year of publication, authors' name or text string.

The various possibilities offered by the command bdp are:

Display of the bibliographic catalogue
Getting the bibliography for a different cluster
Selection of the references later than a given year
Selection of the references earlier than a given year
Selection of references in a interval of years
Search by author's name or keyword
